Professional Bio

After spending about two decades as a B2B magazine editor, over the past dozen years I've transitioned into a freelance writer/editor in medicine and healthcare, mostly clinical medical news, with some forays into health policy and economics, medical abstracts, and content for AI-based delivery of clinical guidelines.
My clients have included Projects in Knowledge (a Kaplan unit), Harvard Health Publications, Reuters Health (for 15 years), the Center for Medical Education, Medical Economics, Managed Healthcare Executive and the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab).
Specialties: Clinical medical news; complex, multi-source features
