Michele Meyer, MA, Merit Scholar, BA, Summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa

A two-time AHCJ fellow, Michele Meyer is PracticeLink's med tech columnist and a freelance health/profile writer for AARP, Fierce Pharma, Pharmaceutical Executive and 13 hospitals nationwide. Her first job was as a press officer at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in D.C. During 11 years as a newspaper editor/writer, she was on the Dallas Times-Herald team named a finalist for the 1985 Pulitzer Prize in public service. Editor of the newspaper’s Spanish-language editions, she’s reported from Mexico, France and Great Britain.
