Meghan Holohan covers stories that focus on the patient experience and has expertise in cancer, disability, cardiovascular health, chronic illness, bias in medicine, women's health and rare disease. Her work has appeared on NBC News and TODAY.com. An article she wrote for TODAY.com as part of a series on parenting during the COVID-19 pandemic won an Excellence-in-Features award from the Society for Features Journalism. In 2023, she was one of 25 international journalists who received the National Press Foundation's Covering Rare Diseases Fellowship. When she's not writing, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking and walking her rescue dogs.
