Jen Singer is a ghostwriter and developmental editor, a cancer-Covid-heart failure survivor, and the author of "The Just Diagnosed Guides." She is the collaborative writer for "We the Patients: Understanding, Navigating, and Surviving America's Healthcare Nightmare" by Matthew Zachary. She has served as a medical writer for NYU Langone Health, Northwell Health, Hospital for Special Surgery, the Skin Cancer Foundation, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, among others.
She has appeared on numerous live and taped, local and national radio and TV programs, including Today and the CBS Evening News. Her work has appeared in many publications and on websites, including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Next Avenue, Parents, and McSweeney's.
