Emily P.G. Erickson is a Minnesota-based independent journalist specializing in mental health. A recipient of an ASJA 2026 June Roth Memorial Award for Outstanding Medical Journalism Honorable Mention, she's written for The New York Times, the American Psychological Association, Wired, Everyday Health, the Dispatch, and more. Emily holds a master’s in counseling psychology and worked as a PTSD researcher for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
