Cameron Oakes

Cameron Oakes is an award-winning investigative reporter covering the criminal justice system, healthcare, and military and veterans affairs. She's also a FOIA enthusiast looking for creative ways to improve public records access and transparency. Her work has appeared in NPR, NBC News, MSNBC, The Choice on Peacock, Haaretz English, Latin America News Dispatch and more. Cameron is a graduate of the Stabile Center for Investigative Reporting at Columbia Journalism School, and hold's a bachelor's degree in journalism and sociology from New York University.
