Anika Nayak

Anika Nayak is a freelance journalist based in Tampa, Florida. Her bylines have appeared in HuffPost, STAT News, TIME, JAMA Medical News, Think Global Health, and other publications. As a Florida native, she is passionate about exploring the intersections of climate and health and their impact on frontline communities. Previously, she has been awarded Solutions Journalism Network's HEAL Fellowship and the Journalism and Women Symposium's Health Journalism Fellowship. She holds a bachelor's degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
