Mark your calendars! The 2026 AHCJ Virtual PitchFest is set for Friday, December 4, from 1–3 p.m. CT. This event gives writers the chance to pitch story ideas directly to top editors from national and regional outlets — all without leaving your desk.

We’ll feature 10–15 editors, each available for one-on-one, 10-minute meetings. Journalists will get three pitch slots, with short breaks built in for editors between sessions.

  • Journalist Spots: Limited to 56 participants (each with 3 editor sign-ups). Additional slots may open if capacity allows.

Timeline

  • October 30: Editors announced and registration opens for journalists.

  • November 6 (10 a.m. CT): Editor sign-ups open for registered participants. Slots remain available until filled.
