Health Journalism 2024 - NYC

The Association of Health Care Journalists will hold its annual Health Journalism Conference from June 6-9, 2024, bringing together hundreds of journalists across the U.S. in midtown New York City.

“New York City is home to some of the greatest advances in medical science and public health — and also some of the finest journalism ever produced. Both were on full display during the darkest days of the pandemic,” said Felice J. Freyer, AHCJ board president. “As a native New Yorker, I’m thrilled that AHCJ is bringing the biggest conversations in health journalism to the city where it’s all happening.”

HJ24 will feature a dynamic lineup of keynote speakers, interactive workshops, field trips, panel discussions and networking opportunities, providing a platform for attendees to deepen their understanding of crucial health issues and enhance their reporting skills.
